The design for the apartment complex was to have African influence but modernized hence the use of bamboo on the backdrop & front of the reception counter and bamboo placemats on the walls. The ceiling artwork of the lounge was an inspiration from the pattern on the traditional attire of the Fulani tribe of North-east of Nigeria, where our client was from originally. The neutral palettes with the pop of colours were in line with Spades Interiors design style and representation of the brightness of the Nigerian culture
