What is Interior Textile?
Interior textiles, or home furnishing textiles, are specialised fabrics extensively used in various interiors such as homes, offices, hospitals, hotels, schools, and other establishments. Commonly utilised fabrics include satin, brocade, corduroy, damask, velvet (heavy), calico, canvas, terry, and taffeta. The demand for textiles in interior design is currently on the rise, presenting significant opportunities for manufacturers, traders, and retailers.

Adire fabric is a traditional textile art originating from the Yorubas from Nigeria, known for its tie-and-dye technique using natural indigo dye. Adire holds cultural significance as prestigious clothing for ceremonies, reflecting status and identity.
In interior decoration, Adire can be incorporated through upholstery, window treatments, wall hangings, pillows, bedding, table linens, and accessories like lampshades and rugs. Furthermore, textile choices in interior decor are adapted seasonally: light colours are favoured during the hot season, while darker textiles take precedence during colder seasons.

They are versatile and suitable for any room, effortlessly adding glamour when placed strategically on sofas, in corners, or even on beds. Their presence positively influences the ambience, making the interior appear more beautiful and organised, while also uplifting the mood of the household, creating a livelier atmosphere.
